At various times Malta was under authority of Romans, arabs, Normen, the Maltese knights, France and Britain. On September, 21st, 1964 Malta has received independence, and in ten years has been proclaimed by republic. On April, 1st, 1979 last British soldiers were sent from Malta that has finished 179-years history of the British board. Malta is a member of the United Nations, IMF, the CART, British Commonwealth of the nations, EU. A state system: the Head of the state — the president.
